Relaxed Countryside, Somerset Wedding

Pen and Cam captured our wedding day so perfectly, in both the photos and film they produced – they were a total joy to work with, made everything so easy and were supportive, kind and patient through out the day. I think they may have super powers (invisibility? ninja flexibility and strength? monkey climbing skills?) as the shots the got were perfect, from every angle, and yet they never got in the way, in fact I kind of forgot they were there for a big part of the afternoon…. This is partly down to the fact that they dressed like wedding guests and everyone totally loved them so they blended in pretty wonderfully. I’m obsessed with the photos they took, eight months on I still look at them all the time, with so much joy and such happy memories.

Oh my, where do I even start with this amazing wedding?  We were lucky enough to meet the beautiful Jo when she was bridesmaid for the gorgeous Laura back in October 2015, and I was immediately drawn to her genuinely warm and effervescent manner.  So when she enquired with us about her forthcoming wedding later that year, with "dusty, cider, cuddles" as her three words, I was totally smitten.  And thankfully they booked us :)

As it turns out, Jo and Ash's day was even better than we could have imagined, as Annabel rightly sums up in the Love My Dress feature of the day, "this wedding beautifully captures the essence of a South West country wedding in the summer."  Or as Jo herself say, “We wanted our wedding to be very relaxed. We wanted it to feel like a community event – with our friends involved in creating it with us. I love the warm colours of the end of summer, the dusty air from the harvest, the cider and the flowers."

Be sure to read more from Jo on Love My Dress, but in the meantime, here's a glimpse of what we saw...
