A Game of Two Halves - Part One

Happy New Year!  I love this time of year where most photographers do a little round up of the last 12 months, and it's one of my favourite things to do.  It's such a wonderful feeling to take time to reflect on the weddings from the last year and gather together a selection of moments in gratitude for the celebrations we were lucky enough to capture.  However, as I still have 10 weddings to edit, I'm doing my summary in two parts.

First up, weddings from January to June.  Although most venues are some distance from home now, the first half of the year covered a fair few extra miles, with ceremonies not just all over England, but 2 in Scotland and 1 in France and 1 in Italy too!  It also made me realise I'm woefully behind in blogging, and there are some amazing weddings here I hope to blog more of soon too. Until then though, I hope you enjoy this little glimpse into the amazing first half of 2016 that we were privileged enough to be part of!

We were so happy to return to some of our favourite venues, like East Quay in Whitstable, the Artist Beach House in Whitstable and the fairy tale chateau in France.  We discovered some new favourite venues, like Treworgey Cottages in Looe and Monachyle Mhor in Scotland.   We also got to work with the lovely Jenny Wren again at Fowey Hall Hotel, and captured our first Cornwall elopement, and that's all in the first 6 months of the year!

Part 2 and our film collaboration with Story Catchers coming soon!
